Equine Chiropractic Care

 

Not surprisingly, many horses can benefit from a chiropractic adjustment.  Imagine carrying over a hundred pounds of weight on your back for hours at a time over all types of terrain, and at all different gaits.   It is bound to have an effect on the joints of your spine and legs.   Even just "horsing around" in the pasture can cause horses to have back pain and other issues that might respond to chiropractic adjustment.

 

If your horse seems off but you can't put your finger on it;  If they are sore, or not taking their leads as well as they should, they might benefit from chiropractic adjustment.   Some horses don't seem to hold their heads as high or maybe they aren't stretching as well.  Others are not as fast out of the gate or in the turns.

 

Chiropractic can help a whole myriad of issues in your horse, even some you might not have considered.  Did you know that some fertility problems have resolved with chiropractic adjustments?   Skin problems?  Digestive issues?  All the nerves in the body run from the brain to the spinal cord and from there, they spread throughout the body.  If the vertebral joints housing the spinal cord aren't moving well, it can result in impaired nerve impulses to different organs, glands, muscles, and blood vessels.  This in turn can affect immunity, digestion and fertility, as well as cause lameness and movement issues.

 

Regular Chiropractic adjustments will help to keep your horse performing at its best.
